How long does it take to build a website?
Website Builds vary in length depending on complexity, I have built websites in a couple of days and others can last up to 2 months. On average sites take between 4 to 6 weeks from start to finish.
Many times projects are delayed from the client’s end in gathering text and images. We can only work based on content availability.
What do you need provided to build a website?
Website Content varies from site to site. During our initial meeting we will discuss the requirements for you to provide to us before starting. In General these will include :
- Branding images
- Images of you products, premisies, staff, before and after if applicable.
- Content for your site, text, price lists, business history.
You may have this content from an existing website, if so we can copy it from there.
Who will update my Website?
We can either do it for you or provide training to you or a member of your staff so you will be able to do all the required updates yourself.
Will my site be mobile friendly
Yes. All of our Website are optimised for mobile as standard. This means your website will be fully responsive and will look great on all devices.
Will you manage my hosting
Yes, while The WP Guy, does not provide hosting, we have trusted hosted partners and we can mange all the technicalities required, from Mail Hosting to Domain registration. This means you can all the techie stuff to me.
How Much does hosting cost?
Hosting usually costs about than €150 per year. It can cost a lot more depending on your requirements. Hosting prices usually increase the more website visitors you have, or the bigger your website.
Will you get my site onto Google
All of our Websites have a base level of Search Engine Optimisation included.
It’s impossible to give you an exact timeframe for how long it takes a new website to appear on Google. Google finds your website using their Algorithm’s however, there are tactics we can use to make your site appeal more to Google.

We try to keep as many people happy as possible, but there has been situations where clients interests may clash with others we represent. If that is the case we can spot it early on.
What size companies do you Work with
We work with all sorts of clients in varying size, no site is too small for us to develop.
Do you work internationally?
Absolutely, especially since the rise of Zoom we dont mind where the client is. Once they are English speaking that is 🙂
I have a Wix site can you help me?
If you want your website rebuilt in WordPress yes. But we do not build, alter or maintain Wix sites.
